My experience with Ken Grabbert and his artistic abilities has been a very good one. My wife and I have had several occasions to see his work and talk with Ken at his studio. We also have had him use his abilities to do some fish reproductions that we display in our house. I brought Ken a Rainbow Trout I caught in the Colorado River and he explained that he had to reproduce a head for the fish (due to the oil) to create a mount for me. To look at the mount, you cannot tell any difference between the body and the head. The colors and shaping and proportions are all very good. I also had a picture of some fifteen inch crappies we had caught that my wife said we should have saved one for the wall. I gave the picture to Ken, and asked if he could reproduce one of the fish for the wall. He did, and you can’t tell it’s a reproduction at all by seeing it on our wall. All in all, our experience with Ken has been very ProFishonal and enjoyable. Keep up the good work Ken. Anyone that questions his talent needs to see the Bluegill in the glass case he carved…..
